Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use Ascend on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.

You sign in using Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. Notify us promptly at connect@ankverse.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Ascend lets you create, store, brand, and send tax-style invoices, manage customers and products, and (on paid plans) email invoices and add payment links. Ascend provides invoice tools and templates; it is not an accountant, tax advisor, or legal advisor.

Important — tax disclaimer. Ascend helps you apply common tax rules (such as GST in India, VAT in the UAE and UK, and sales tax in the USA), but tax rates and rules change and vary by situation. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and compliance of every invoice you generate, including correct tax treatment, registration numbers, and required fields. Always verify with a qualified tax professional. We are not liable for tax errors, penalties, or non-compliance arising from your use of the Service.

a) Free and paid plans. Ascend offers a Free plan with limited features and a paid Advanced plan, available as a Monthly subscription, Annual subscription, or one-time Lifetime purchase. Current features and prices are shown on our Pricing page and may change for future purchases.

b) Payment. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us (through Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method the applicable fee.

c) Renewals. Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled before the renewal date. The Lifetime plan is a single payment with no recurring charge.

d) Cancellation. You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Advanced access until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.

e) Refunds. [State your policy clearly — recommended default:] Subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Lifetime purchases may be refunded within [7] days of purchase if you have not made substantial use of the Service. To request a refund, contact connect@ankverse.com.

f) Taxes on your purchase. Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which will be added where required.

a) Ownership. You retain full ownership of all data you put into Ascend — your business details, customer information, products, logos, and invoices ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

b) Licence to operate. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you (for example, rendering and emailing your invoices).

c) Your responsibility. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content, including that you have the right to store your customers' information and to contact them. You must comply with applicable privacy and data-protection laws regarding your own customers.

You agree not to:

• use Ascend for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose, including issuing false or fake invoices;
• upload malware or attempt to breach, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• resell, sublicense, or copy the Service without our written permission;
• use the Service to infringe anyone's rights or to send spam.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Ascend relies on third-party providers including Google (sign-in), Supabase (hosting and database), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

We work to keep Ascend available and reliable, but we provide the Service "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

The Ascend name, logo, design, and software are owned by Ankverse Global Consultancy and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our branding except to use the Service as intended.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ascend, Ankverse Global Consultancy, and Ankverse will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service — including tax errors, missed invoices, or payment issues. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ankverse Global Consultancy, Ankverse, and Ascend from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

You may stop using Ascend and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [your city, e.g. Bengaluru / your jurisdiction] will have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your own country.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
